Hello everyone, here is an announcement from our friends over at SSSS!

The SSSS is proud to announce SystemsHacks 2024: ChaosHacks; the 8th iteration of our annual hackathon!

ChaosHacks is a 12-hour, beginner-friendly hackathon that will take place on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024 in the Engineering Building (SRYE) @ SFU Surrey Campus!

What’s the theme of ChaosHacks?
The idea on the surface is simple: Create something centered around chaos. Whether it be embracing the chaos, creating chaos, or anything in between; the choice is up to you! After all, the world is filled with chaos so it is up to us as developers to create technical tools to deal with it (or if you dare, add to it. )

Applications are now open (https://forms.gle/JaoT2fVmxyVrV3LS9) and the last day to apply is Tuesday, February 13th.

Don’t worry, we don't need you to write an essay or anything in your application. If there are any questions you may have about anything hackathon-related or just have a question about the Software Systems Student Society, please do not hesitate to reach out to us - don’t worry, we are very friendly! (hint hint: join the SSSS Discord Server 😜 )
