Nominee Speech:

Hello, my name is Mabel Ling and I am running as your Council Representative. Having a seat in the SFSS allows us to have a voice for one of the largest student groups at SFU. I hope to be able to support other students like myself. As council rep, I wish to accomplish the following:

● Vote on behalf of the students in the CSSS when it comes to student fees and services.
● Continue to get funding for our larger events such as FAS Formal and the Silicon Valley Trip.
● Keep the members of the CSSS up-to-date on council issues.

While I have only served one term as an Exec at large, I would like to make a bigger impact on our student society. I look forward to being the liaison between the CSSS and SFSS. Thank you.

My name is Chitransh, and I'm running for a position in the Computing Science Student Society Council. As a passionate and dedicated person in general, I believe that I have what it takes to represent your interests and needs on the council. If elected, I will work tirelessly to ensure that your voices are heard, your concerns are addressed, and your ideas are taken into consideration. I will be a strong advocate for the computing science student community, and I will work closely with the council to create a more inclusive, welcoming, and engaging environment for all students.

As someone who has been involved in various extracurricular activities and events throughout my time here, I have gained valuable experience and insights that I believe will help me excel in this role. I am confident that I can make a positive impact on the council and on the computing science student community as a whole.
