🎲 CSSS Board Games Night 🎲

posted by Arya Faghihy on Oct. 4, 2023, 10:14 p.m.

Mysterious Bi-Weekly Gathering in the Technology & Science Complex

Note: the Discord announcements said ASB instead of TASC , my bad.

The rituals of TASC1 9204

Burnaby, B.C. - In the hallways of Simon Fraser University’s Applied Sciences Building, a cryptic bi-weekly gathering has left students both mystified and enthralled. This event, hosted in the elusive room TASC1 9204, has captured the attention of the curious for decades. The Burnaby Herald delves into the spine-tingling allure of this secretive gathering.

Little is known about its true purpose, which is shrouded in a cloak of mystery that seems to deepen with each passing night. What is certain, however, is that the event has historically attracted massive crowds of SFU students, who get together to play board games well into the night. Reports say that some participants remain awake until dawn, fuelled by an unshakeable determination to win the game, and become the ultimate board games champion.

Eyewitnesses, who have been lucky enough to witness the event with their own eyes, recount tales of a captivating atmosphere that defies all reality. Among the loud explosions of laughter and the alluring chatter, the smell of the fresh, hot pizza and the sound of soda cans opening leaves everyone yearning for more, and more, and more, …, and more. “This is no mere gathering, mind you” said one of the attendees who requested to remain anonymous, “this is a feast, fit for the gathering of the largest crowds in history.”

As The Burnaby Herald continues to unravel this enigmatic mystery, we encourage all interested parties to take note of the following details for the next event:

Date: Friday Oct. 6th
Time: 05:00 PM - 08:30 PM

Location: TASC1 9204
Who can attend: both CS and non-CS students

Stay tuned as we unearth the truth behind this mystery
