Details:
Time: October 15th, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Place: ASB 9700 and 9838 (CSIL), SFU Burnaby Campus, Burnaby, BC, Canada, Earth, Solar System, Milky Way, Sector ZZ9 Plural Z Alpha, Western Spiral Arm of the Galaxy
Teams: Team of up to three members, one of which must be an SFU student. Team formation will be done during the event
Anticipated Schedule (May be subject to change, please show up on time):
10:00 - 10:30 Introduction, Rules, and Other Stuff
10:30 - 11:00 Team formation for those who want teams, and preparation for the contest
11:00 - 4:00 Contest! Food will be served at some point
4:00 - 5:00 Judges deliberate on judgeable questions, solutions are presented, and other stuff to pass the time
5:00 - 6:00 (Might not take this long) Awards and thank-yous!
What to prepare:
Know how to use stdin and stdout in your favourite programming language (Python has input() and print(), C++ has std::cin and std::cout).
If your favourite programming language is obscure, message me or Ari with details on how to install it pain-free on Debian and run it on the command line. We'll try our best to get it working.
