Battlesnake is a combination of eSports + hackathon, where developers build AI to play the game Snake and participate in a live tournament at the Victoria Conference Centre on March 15th from 9:00-6:00. 

Battlesnake is for all skill levels from first-time programmers to senior developers. Everyone can find success at Battlesnake.  To get started, check out docs.battlesnake.com for resources, starter code, and join the slack community to ask questions and get help. Battlesnake 2020 is presented by AWS, GitHub, and Dyspatch. It is free to attend and is a great way to practice your skills, connect with great companies, and have a lot of fun.

[Event] - BC Game Jam!

Ever wanted to make your very own game but never had the time? Want to learn more about what it takes to make a game?

BC Game Jam 2020 is the place to be! The BC Game Jam is an annual hackathon-like event uniting game developers across all disciplines to create a game. Starting from scratch, attendees will gather in teams and have the event's 48 hours to finish their project and show it off to everyone else.

- When: February 14th - 16th
- Why: To have an awesome time!
