[Announcement] - Course Evaluations

posted by Sarbjot Mann on Nov. 27, 2020, 12:08 p.m.

Hi CSSS Members,

As we approach the end of the semester, we would like to remind you to do course and professor evaluations.

Evaluations help the department on how a particular course is taught and if any updates or changes are needed. If over 50% of the class fills in these evaluations and there is similar feedback which is negative this will automatically trigger a meeting between the professor and the department. On the other hand, if you really liked your professor and a particular class let the department know, so the professor can potentially be rewarded for their efforts.

Course evaluations have/continue to be mailed out to you, or can be accessed here: https://sfu.bluera.com/sfu/
For more information about student evaluations refer to the following link: https://www.sfu.ca/setc.html
