2023-2024 CSSS General Elections Nominations

Greetings,

The nomination period for yearly positions in the CSSS begins today, and lasts until 11:59pm March 27th. These positions are until 2024 April. If you want to start the process of running run for any of the positions below, please email the election officer [me] at csss-elections@sfu.ca with your SFU ID and follow the instructions in the email I will send in response OR YOU WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE ELECTION.

The positions that you can run for are:

- President
- Vice-President
- Treasurer
- Director of Events
- Director of Educational Events
- Assistant Director of Events
- Director of Archives
- Director of Communications
- Director of Multi Media
- Director of Resources

SFSS Elections 2023-2024 Results

Greetings All,

The voting period for the CSSS SFSS Election for the 2023 term is now over and the results have been compiled.

Well this is where I thank the former SFSS Council Representative but uh..... if you know then you know

There were 85 responses to the websurvey.

Your new SFSS Council Representative with 59 votes (70%) is Mabel Ling, Chitransh Motwani finished in second place with 14 votes (16%), and there was 10 votes of no confidence(12%).

Congratulations to the new SFSS Council Representative of the CSSS!

A very big thank you to everyone who ran for a position, everyone who voted and all members of the CSSS who have helped me along the way.

We still have a few tickets remaining for the CSSS and SFU Dodo Club collab bowling event!

Here are the event details:

Date: Saturday, March 11
Time: 3:00 – 5:00 pm (optional dinner outing afterwards)
Venue: Revs Burnaby (next to Holdom Skytrain)
Cost: $15 (discount rate!) Includes 2 games and shoe rental.
