Movie Night

Hello CSSS Members,

We hope all of you are doing well!

On July 31st, starting at 6:00pm, we’ll be hosting a Movie Night. We’ll be playing two movies which will be voted by the viewers on discord on the day of the event! Here are the current options for movies:

Movies: White Chicks, Inception, The Shining, 101 Dalmatians, Crazy Rich Asians

Virtual Board Games Night

On July 24th, starting at 6pm, we’ll be hosting a Virtual Board Games Night, where we’ll be hosting Jackbox games, skribbl.io, Tabletop Simulator, netgames.io and Cards against Humanity.

Just a reminder that next Monday the CSSS will be holding a meeting on Monday July 27th.

This meeting will take place online on the CSSS Discord(https://discord.gg/sfucsss) in the General Meetings Voice Channel.

You are automatically a member of the CSSS if:

A declared CMPT Major, Minor, or Honours in any program of study offered at the undergraduate level by the School of Computing Science;

or currently enrolled in any undergraduate course offered by the School of Computing Science; or are an Honorary Member of the Society

Voting restricted to Members only.

SFU CSSS Valorant Tournament

Hi everyone.

The SFU Computing Science Student Society is holding a tournament for Riot Games’ Valorant, over the weekend of July 17th. The team that rises to the top will win $50 in Riot Points, as well as eternal bragging rights. The tournament is open to all SFU students, so make sure to invite your friends. All communication between the participants and the organizers will be held over Discord, so please make sure that everyone has a working Discord account.

Signups close on July 14th, so make sure to sign up fast!

Hi Everyone, This Friday we'd like to invite you all to spend your afternoon playing online games with our friends at the Software Systems Student Society.
