Computing Science Degree Length Survey

posted by Mitchell Gale on July 17, 2021, midnight

Hi All,

The Computing Science Student Society is hoping to collect some information on what is making people choose the number of courses you take each semester. If there is something blocking you from taking more courses, we want to know. Some examples of things which could be extending your degree would be Co-op, part-time work, volunteer activities, difficulty choosing courses, course availability and more.

Please fill out this survey! (6 Questions)

Please fill this survey out as soon as possible.

Thanks,

If you have any opinions on the matter and are free at that time, then feel free to drop by. Hope to see you there!

Subject: [FAS] Students’ voices (Return to campus) @ July 13, 4:30 PM

Hello all!
The Faculty Teaching Fellow for FAS asked us to let you know of this opportunity to give input to faculty on return to campus.
 --------------------------
We want to hear your thoughts about returning to campus!
After a successful “Listening to the Students’ Voices” session recently in March, the FAS TTT (The Teaching Talks) and CSGSA invite students, FAS faculty, and staff to continue the conversation.
This is an informal conversation on your thoughts, concerns, and suggestions for how to make this transition work best for you. Help improve how SFU FAS delivers education during and beyond Covid-19.
Take a break, come chat, and get a chance to win one of ten $20 giftcards generously funded by the Faculty of Applied Sciences!
When: 2021 July 13th, 4:30pm.

This event is co-organized by the FAS FTF and the student societies of FAS (your’s truly, CSGSA).
See you there!
