We will be having our regularly scheduled board games night this Friday, July 8th, 5 PM to 8:30 PM in TASC1 9204. As usual, there will be food and a wide selection of board games provided.

CSSS members,

We will be having our usual board games night this Friday, June 10th, 5 PM-8:30 PM. It will take place inTASC1 9204; directions are attached below for those who need them.

For those unfamiliar, the CSSS' board games nights are regular events that occur once every two weeks; there is no entry fee. During these events, food and a wide range of board games will be provided. Student can connect, unwind, and enjoy a dinner together. As always, this event will be open to all SFU students, so bring your friends! We hope to see you there!

CSSS Beginner Git Workshop - July 13 5:30-7:30 PM

The SFU Computing Science Student Society is excited to host a Beginner Git Workshop on Wednesday July 13 at 5:30-7:30PM, inside CSIL ASB 9840 (Burnaby Campus). The workshop is catered towards students with minimal Git experience, hoping to get a bit of hands on learning.


We know the event is in the evening so snacks will be included.

With its inception from Waterloo's School of Pharmacy, in Waterloo HackRx students will be competing in inter-professional teams of pharmacy, medical, nursing, engineering and computer science backgrounds to create the best pharmacy technology innovation.

This event would be a great way for computer science students to learn more about health tech and to connect with students of other backgrounds.

This event will be fully virtual and happen over a weekend and will feature keynote speakers, workshops, panels and social events.
