Want to be more involved in the CSSS and your community? Try joining a CSSS committee! Committees are extensions of the CSSS team that focuses on a specific area of interest, from organizing general events, to building projects that support the student body. They are a great way to meet new people, gain experience, and contribute to the CSSS in a way that aligns with your interests. Committees can be joined through our Discord or by job posting.

Have an idea for an event at SFU for computing science students? Do you lack funding and support? Join the Events Committee and work with other motivated students to bring your event to life.

Meetings are chaired by the Director of Events with assistance from the Director of Educational Events and Assistant Director of Events. Meetings are run bi-weekly, join our Discord for dates!
