CSSS Board Game Night

Hello CSSS members,

We will be having our usual board games night this Friday, November 4th! As usual, it will be from5 PM to 8:30 PM in TASC1 9204. There will be dinner provided and a wide selection of board games for you to enjoy. Our board games nights are open to all SFU students, so invite all your friends!

CSSS Technical Interview Workshop THIS WEEK!

Hello All - Seekers and Co-op Enthusiasts! 


The CSSS has a fantastic set of events is coming up this week November 3 and 4! TWO Interview Workshops - one led by representatives from ARISTA (who you might have seen at Career Fair just last week!) and the other led by an SFU Alumni currently working at Google!


The events are VIRTUAL and FREE! Volunteer to be the interviewee or just listen in! Whether you are seeking for co-op, full-time, or going to be seeking soon, these events are a great way to get a feel for the interview experience! 

During these events you will have the opportunity to:
- Volunteer to be the Interviewee!
Receive feedback on the quality of your answers/explanation!
Experience the famous LeetCode Style Questions!
- Hear the types of questions you might get at a Technical Interview!
Or just listen in and soak up the knowledge!!!! 🧠

CSSS Beginner Linux Workshop - Registration

Hello All! 


The CSSS is happy to host a Beginner Linux Workshop on how to navigate the basics of the Linux Terminal with the end goal of compiling a simple C program with gcc!


This workshop is catered to anyone hoping to learn the basics of the Linux Terminal, covering material that you will want to know for CMPT 125, CMPT 225, CMPT 295, and any other classes that use C or C++.
