CSSS By-Elections 2017-2018 Results

Greetings All,

The voting period for the CSSS By-Elections for the 2017-2018 term is now over and the results have been compiled.

Before getting to the results, I'd like to take a moment to thank our previous Director of Events and Director of Archives, Brendan Chan and Josh Wu respectively for their hardwork and dedication to their position.

There were 76 responses to the websurvey.

Your new Director of Events is Courtenay Huffman, with Oscar Smith-Sieger coming in at second place.

Your new Director of Archives is Dawn Chandler, with Ali Arshad coming in at second place.

Congratulations to the new executives of the CSSS!

A very big thank you to everyone who ran for a position, everyone who voted and all members of the CSSS who have helped me along the way.

Greetings once again fellow students!

Due to a mistake with the voting system previously set up, I have had to create a new voting survey. I do apologize for the inconvenience and spam. As a new survey has been opened up, I ask that all those who previously submitted a vote, to do so again.

The voting period for the Computing Science Student Society By-Elections for the 2017-2018 term begins on Monday August 14th, 2017 at 7:00 PM and closes on Tuesday August 22th, 2017 at 11:59 PM. Visit here to view candidate speeches, and here to vote.

Best of luck to all candidates and good luck to all who are still studying for finals!
