Since the Director of Educational Events wasvoted asNo Confidence in the recent 2024-2025 CSSS General Election, a By-Election will be taking place immediately.The position being offered in this By-Election has a term of office fromMay 1st, 2024 to April 30th, 2025, and is as follows:

If you would like to run for the above position, please do the following:

Email the CSSS Elections officer at csss-elections@sfu.ca and write that you'd like to run in the current CSSSBy-Election
Include your SFU computing ID in the email. This is not your student number
Follow the instructions in the email response that will be sent to you

If you don't follow these steps, you won't be included in the election

The voting period for the 2024-2025 CSSS General Election is now over, and the results have been compiled.

🎉😁🎤 CSSS Board Karaoke Night Games🎤😁🎉

Picture this.

You’re at the Museum of the CSSS’s Extraordinary Evolutionary History (CSSS-EEH). You’re in the Hall of Execs right now. You walk your way through the hall: you see the 2021-2022 term, the 2022-2023 term, and then you stop at the 2023-2024 term. Your jaw drops and your gasp can be heard all the way in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico (it’s a real place, look it up).

A portrait is missing!

The frame has been taken away, and only its empty place remains with a plaque. The plaque reads ‘Arya “Array” Faghihy.’ Apparently this person was the ADoE for that year.

You walk closer to the plaque. You examine it a bit more. And just when you want to turn away, your eyes notice something that sends shivers down your spine.

There’s an engraving. It’s very small, but you take a look nevertheless. You don’t know why, but you’re almost certain that a bald eagle engraved the message with its beak.

It reads “the final message awaits.”

You wake up. What the heck happened?

You check your watch, it’s 4:23 AM. You’re still in the museum and it's early morning. Arya’s portrait is back on the wall. You take out your phone and unlock it, and there it is (check Discord or Instagram to see it).
